British "virtual" band Gorillaz, headed by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, played live on 10th August for the first time at London's O2 Arena in three years. The band returned to the stage with a free concert in honour of NHS workers for their commitment to fighting the pandemic.
Gorillaz transformed the dormant 20,000 capacity venue, which has finally re-opened its doors after more than 500 days, into a celebration of connectivity and communion. Last month, the majority of limitations on major events in England were lifted, making the performance viable. Only those with a negative COVID-19 test result were allowed inside the stadium.
The band performed a setlist for the audience, which featured songs from seven albums recorded throughout the course of the project's twenty-year history. A great ensemble of collaborators, including legends in The Cure’s Robert Smith and Joy Division’s Peter Hook, who joined the band on stage.
“You’ve only come back stronger”, Damon Albarn told the crowd at London’s The O2, emphasising their desire to get together and celebrate.

Our clinic was founded by Joshua Simpson in 2005. At the beginning of 2019, we moved to a new clinic with modern equipment and a cozier atmosphere. Each of our doctors has at least 7 years of experience working with animals. We pay special attention to vaccination and the prevention of chronic diseases.
